We are happy to announce that we are certified as Safe Harbor compliant. The Safe Harbor program ensures compliance with the European Union Data Protection Directive, a directive that protects personal data by ensuring that it is only used with permission and for legitimate purposes. Hi Brandon,
I know this is an old post, but I would like some details about this, if possible. We currently host a site in the EU (Happystudio.com), and were wondering if the European Union Data Protection Directive is automatically applied to all accounts, or do we need to do another measure to ensure the safety of users who use our site in the EU?

  Hi Jarret, no problem! You don't need to do anything special. The certification applies to all data stored by SendGrid, so any of your customers in the EU are already covered.
