Posted on (1 Comment)

I joined the SendGrid team just over a month ago as the newest addition to the Inbound Marketing team in the Denver office. In just my first 30 days at the company, I’ve gone on a company sponsored trip to Mexico, met all of our top executives, attended information sessions about each department in the company, and been feted with tons of free food (Chipotle is our company cafeteria…seriously!). I’d always heard that SendGrid has a great work culture, but I had to see it to believe it. 30 days in, I’m happy to report that it’s definitely all true.

2013 SendGrid Kickoff in Mexico

Last week, SendGrid celebrated its 2013 kickoff event in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Four days of team building, goal setting, and yes…sun and sand. SendGrid has offices in Anaheim, Boulder, Denver, Romania, San Francisco, NYC, London and Berlin, so it’s great for us all to come together once a year to reflect on the year before and to gear up for what’s ahead. Friday night started off with a kickoff dinner overlooking the beach that included lots of good food, laughs, and…dancing. Lots of dancing. SendGrid Delivered, San Francisco

SendGrid Delivered, our national email deliverability tour, stopped in San Francisco a few weeks ago for a day of good discussion, interesting guest speakers and great tips on improving email systems. We had the opportunity to talk to many local companies about the role of email in their company, SendGrid’s part in improving email communications, and what’s next for them. One of the highlights of the event was hearing from guest speakers. Dylin Redling from BranchOut, Nimish Parmar and Tali Leff from StumbleUpon, and Mike Preuss from Formspring each provided unique insight into email from a startup perspective, and shared
