Next week, Brandon and I are heading to Portland! Beyond enjoying a wonderful Oregon town, we’re excited for OSCON and tons of hacking fun!
The big event of the week is SendGrid’s fourth API Hackday on Saturday, July 30, which we are hosting with the usual suspects – Apigee, Mashery, SimpleGeo, and Twilio — and a number of awesome Portland-based companies like Urban Airship and PHPFog. As an added bonus, we welcome LinkedIn to the API Hackday lineup!
Sound awesome? Sign up here. The event is free, but we are accepting small donations for our charity:water fund – so if you want to support the cause, or if you need to stock up on karma points, give a little back!
Plus, don’t miss the pre-event happy hour on Thursday the 28th …It just so happens that Oregon’s Brewers Festival is happening July 28-31! [Can you say "perfect timing"?]
A snapshot of the awesomeness we have going on here:
We can’t wait to meet the Portland developer community and hang out with those of you in town for OSCON. Let us know if you’re going to be around – we’d love to drink a brew or a few. Hope to see you there!
