We are enthusiastic to announce a partnership with OpenShift, Red Hat’s open source Platform as a Service (PaaS). OpenShift is a cloud-based application platform where developers and teams can build, test, deploy, and run their applications. And depending on the needs of your organization, OpenShift can be used as a public or private PaaS.
OpenShift takes a No-Lock-In approach to PaaS by providing built-in support for Java, Ruby, Node.js, PHP, Perl, and Python along with many popular developer tools like Eclipse and Jenkins. In addition, OpenShift provides a customizable cartridge functionality that allows enterprising developers to add any other language they wish.
SendGrid and OpenShift are now aligned to take care of the infrastructure, middleware, and management that allow developers to focus on what they do best—designing and coding applications. With this partnership, SendGrid can now help a new community of developers scale their email infrastructure and make sure their transactional messages reach the inbox.
