I had the great pleasure to visit San Diego on June 15th to witness the creation of some amazing startup ideas at Startup Weekend San Diego.
The event was held at CoMerge, an amazing venue with very interesting art exhibits scattered throughout. Check out our Facebook photo album for a sampling of some cool visuals.
Of all of the startups launched in just 54 hours, my personal favorite was BreadCrumbs, which showed off Qualcomm Labs’ ContextBeta SDK, which promises incredible battery savings even when running GPS intensive apps continuously.
Check out the official Startup Weekend San Diego blog for a listing of the winners and video of all the presentations on pitch night.
Big thanks to the fantastic Startup Weekend San Diego organizers! Congratulations on another successful Startup Weekend!
