London Hackers Bring Home the Gold at API Hackday
As Adria forecasted in a post last week, the API Hackday crew brought our hackety fun to the UK for the first time…and the London developer community did not disappoint! A large group of excited hackers showed up bright and early on Saturday morning, ready for a full day of mashing APIs. It was an incredibly talented group of DOers, and the fruits of their labors were quite impressive. API Hackday is coming to London, England August 4th after another successful run in Portland, Oregon around OSCON. Next week, Brandon and I are heading to Portland! Beyond enjoying a wonderful Oregon town, we’re excited for OSCON and tons of hacking fun! The big event of the week is SendGrid’s fourth API Hackday on Saturday, July 30, which we are hosting with the usual suspects – Apigee, Mashery, SimpleGeo, and Twilio — and a number of awesome Portland-based companies like Urban Airship and PHPFog. I’m leaving behind the humble hills of Boulder this Wednesday, and heading to the BIG Apple for Internet Week!
