eCommerce Hack Day Brings New Challenge To Developers

When you go online to shop at a store, you often don’t think about the technology making it all happen.  I mean, how do you build the next eBay?  There are startups working to make your online shopping experience easier, faster more secure.  This weekend welcomed the first eCommerce Hack Day organized by Dwolla and Etsy in New York City and brought together over 100 developers competing for more than $10,000 in cash and prizes. London Hackers Bring Home the Gold at API Hackday

As Adria forecasted in a post last week, the API Hackday crew brought our hackety fun to the UK for the first time…and the London developer community did not disappoint! A large group of excited hackers showed up bright and early on Saturday morning, ready for a full day of mashing APIs. It was an incredibly talented group of DOers, and the fruits of their labors were quite impressive. API Hackday Coming To London

Are you a developer in the UK looking to flex your coding muscles and win some cool prizes?  API Hackday is coming to London, England August 4th after another successful run in Portland, Oregon around OSCON.  Sponsoring companies for London include Twilio, Mashery, SendGrid, Pusher and GoPaperless.
