eCommerce Hack Day Brings New Challenge To Developers

When you go online to shop at a store, you often don’t think about the technology making it all happen.  I mean, how do you build the next eBay?  There are startups working to make your online shopping experience easier, faster more secure.  This weekend welcomed the first eCommerce Hack Day organized by Dwolla and Etsy in New York City and brought together over 100 developers competing for more than $10,000 in cash and prizes. Hacking APIs at Internet Week in NYC!

  I’m leaving behind the humble hills of Boulder this Wednesday, and heading to the BIG Apple for Internet Week! While I’ll be enjoying many of the festivities involved in this enormous gathering of technophiles, I’m most excited about SendGrid’s third API Hackday, which we are hosting on Thursday, along with Aviary and SimpleGeo.
